Authentic Plant-Based Mexican food

My personal journey started when I was 10 and witnessed a pig being slaughtered.  I professed to my family that I would no longer eat meat, not an easy feat given my Polish mom and low income status.  I stood true to my word, never ate meat again, but maybe not always the healthiest of diets. Flash forward 40 years, 2018 I was told by a doctor that i was pre-diabetic.  I went home and watched "What the Health" on Netflix, and proceeded to go 100% plant based(vegan), the next day.  Six months later, my doctor asked me what exactly I had been doing differently?  My bloodwork had came back almost perfect, slightly low in vitamin K and D, easily amended!  Further immersing myself into the plant based community, I started a vegan potluck community, which I enjoyed very much, the friends I made and the food we ate!  

In 2020, I met my partner Jodie. and in 2021 she started her own journey of becoming plant based.  Although health is an obvious motivation, I, Jodie, am passionate about the animals and planet and how simple it would be to make a huge difference for both with the tiniest of changes!

It is our love of food, the environment and each other that brought us to this place.  It has been a labor of love t0 recreate authentic Mexican dishes 100% plant based and healthy.  Stop by and we'll give you a sample.  We are confident you'll be surprised!
